🥘 Ingredients
To make this healthy grapefruit smoothie, you will need a frozen banana, fresh pineapple, grapefruit and spinach, Greek yogurt and water.
The spinach adds a lovely color and great nutrients, but the smoothie tastes of banana, pineapple and grapefruit.
💡 TIP! You can skip the water if you want to make a really thick smoothie, like for a smoothie bowl. Thick smoothies are best served with a spoon, topped with fresh fruit or granola.
🔪 How to make pineapple grapefruit smoothie
Smoothies are always easy to make! You simply have to add all the ingredients to a blender. You want to peel the bananas, pineapple and grapefruit, and roughly dice them first.
If you like a thicker smoothie, you can omit the water and blend the other ingredients together before optionally adding cold water to taste.
Blend the ingredients to a smooth, delicious texture, about 1 minute.
💭 Top tips
Here's my best tips and advice to make the perfect smoothie:
- You can use fresh bananas, but I prefer to use them frozen. This also helps the smoothie to chill down.
- The spinach can technically be omitted, but I highly recommend adding it. You can't taste it, so it's such an easy way to add more greens to your diet.
