    🥘 Ingredients

The perfect rooibos iced tea is made using rooibos tea bags (or loose tea), lemon juice and water. You can also optionally add a sweetener like honey, agave syrup or sugar, and serve it over ice cubes.

    ☕ Rooibos tea

Rooibos tea, or redbush rea is a South African tea which tastes similar to hibiscus tea. It's commonly served with sweetener, lemon slices or milk - or enjoyed as is. It contains no caffeine, and has very low tannin levels.

    🔪 Instructions

Boil the water in a kettle or a pot, and pour into a large jug. Add two tea bags, and allow them to steep for 2-3 minutes. Remove the tea bags, and add lemon juice, along with the sweetener if you are using it.

Allow the tea to cool down, then place it in the fridge. Leave it for a few hours or overnight to chill it completely.
