Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 150 g fresh pineapple
  • ½ grapefruit
  • 3 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 50 ml water

Instructions

  • Peel the bananas, pineapple and grapefruit, and roughly dice them first. Then, add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend the ingredients to a smooth, delicious texture, about 1 minute.
  • If you like a thicker smoothie, you can omit the water and blend the other ingredients together before optionally adding cold water to taste.

Notes

Can I use all frozen ingredients? – This should be absolutely fine. You might have to adjust the amount of added water.
Can I use orange instead of grapefruit? – Yep! Orange will taste slightly different, but still amazing with the other ingredients.

Top tips

Here’s my best tips and advice to make the perfect smoothie:
  • You can use fresh bananas, but I prefer to use them frozen. This also helps the smoothie to chill down.
  • The spinach can technically be omitted, but I highly recommend adding it. You can’t taste it, so it’s such an easy way to add more greens to your diet.
