    🥘 Ingredients

All you need to make this delicious drink is ginger and lemon tea bags, and water. Alternatively, you can use ginger tea bags and lemon juice.

You can also add extra sliced fresh lemon or ginger to enhance the flavors if you wish. Optionally, you can add some honey or sweetener for a sweet ginger lemon tea.

Additionally, you might want ice cubes for serving!

    💭 Top tips

Here are my best tips for this super easy recipe:

    • Iced teas are rarely used for alcoholic cocktails, but this one is excellent with vodka. Just saying.
    • If you want a sweeter tea, add some sweetener or honey while the tea is still hot. This will allow the sweetener to properly dissolve into the liquid.
    • You can totally turn this into a sparkling iced tea by steeping the tea in half or the amount of water. Chill the tea, then dilute it with sparkling water before serving.

    🍲 Leftovers

Leftover ginger lemon iced tea can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep it chilled, and bring it out only to serve.

Add ice cubes and any garnishes such as a lemon slice when serving it. Avoid leaving lemon or ginger slices in the iced tea while it's resting in the fridge, as they can give the tea a stronger flavor than intended.
