Stewed kale is a great way to use up any leftover fresh kale. It has a mild flavor which means it's versatile and can be served with a variety of main protein dishes. The lemon juice gives it a lovely kick

    🥘 Ingredients

For this recipe you will only need two ingredients: kale, and lemon juice. You will also need a splash of water to keep the kale from burning.

This recipe is definitely best using fresh kale. You can make it using frozen kale, however you might need to cook it for longer as frozen kale contains more water.

    🔪 Instructions

Stewed kale could not be easier to make! First, prepare the kale by washing and chopping it roughly. Remove the thicker parts of the stem.

Add the kale, lemon juice and water to a pot on medium heat. Allow it to cook while you stir for about 5-7 minutes. The kale should be wilted and soft.

Serve kale stew immediately while it's hot.
