I love a good sauce recipe, and this cranberry aioli has been my go-to for holiday meals over the last few years. A traditional cranberry sauce can be fantastic, but sometimes you want a sauce that's a little more thick and creamy. That's where this dip comes in.
This 4 ingredient recipe is made in 2 minutes, and without any heat. All you need is a few common ingredients you might already have in your pantry. It's also really easy to adapt to different dietary requirements and preferences.
Ingredients
For this recipe you only need 4 ingredients: mayonnaise, cranberry sauce, rosemary and salt. The rosemary and salt are optional but recommended seasonings, however you can omit them or substitute with your favorite seasoning.
You might want to skip the salt if you're serving the aioli as a sweet sauce.

Instructions
The instructions could not be simpler: combine all the ingredients in a bowl! I like to combine the cranberry sauce and mayonnaise first, then adding the salt and rosemary to taste.
Top tips
Here is all of my best advice to help you succeed with the recipe:
- Feel free to add the ingredients to taste. You might find that you prefer a little extra rosemary or more cranberry sauce than suggested. This recipe is so simple, it's easy to adapt to suit your preferences.
- Make sure to use a good quality mayonnaise and cranberry sauce, as these flavors will be most noticeable.
Serving suggestions
Aioli is typically enjoyed as a condiment, and the cranberry version is perfect to serve with any holiday meal, with your snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here are some of my favorite ways to enjoy it:
- Sandwiches: think holiday style sandwiches with ham or turkey, stuffing, brie and cranberry aioli. Yum!
- Burgers - especially turkey burgers.
- Air Fryer Potato Wedges - These are great when dipped in cranberry aioli.
- Air Fryer Drumsticks - Crispy drumsticks are amazing paired with creamy aioli.
- Slow Cooker Pulled Gammon - You can pair your gammon with this aioli instead of using plain cranberry sauce.
Variations
Here are some of my favorite variations of this dip:
Vegan: Use vegan or egg free mayonnaise.
Light / low calorie: You can absolutely use light mayonnaise for this recipe, or even substitute the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt for a really light cranberry dip recipe.
Sugar free: Make sure to use sugar free cranberry sauce!
Leftovers
You can store leftover cranberry aioli in a sealed container in a refrigerator for up to 4 days. Make one batch and use it as a dip, sauce or condiments for several meals throughout the week.
