    🥘 Ingredients

For this recipe you will need ground beef (minced beef), shredded or finely chopped cabbage, onion, a can of diced tomatoes, thyme, paprika powder, salt and pepper.

    🔪 Instructions

This recipe is incredibly easy to make, and only requires a few steps. Start by preparing your ingredients. Finely chop or dice the onion, and shred the cabbage.

Add the ground beef to a skillet, and cook until it has browned thoroughly.

Add finely diced onion and shredded or finely chopped cabbage. Saute for 5-7 minutes, until the cabbage has softened.

Add the diced tomatoes and seasoning. Leave the ground beef and cabbage skillet to cook for another 5 minutes. Finally, add salt and pepper to taste and serve.

    💭 Top tips

Here are my best tips for the perfect results:

    • Feel free to add more or different seasoning to suit your taste. You can add some cajun seasoning, taco seasoning or Italian seasoning to change things up!
    • This recipe is perfect for using up leftover veggies or cooked meats. Anything can be thrown into the skillet.
    • Make sure to grate or very finely slice the cabbage. If you cut it too thick it will take longer to cook.
    • If you use low quality diced tomatoes, you might find that the skillet tastes slightly acidic. You can add a pinch of sugar or sweetener to balence the flavors.
