This healthy homemade ranch recipe combines your favorite ranch flavors with Greek yogurt for a light, creamy and delicious ranch dip!
Ranch is one of my favorite dips, and this has become my preferred method of making it. It’s such a quick and easy recipe, and the result is a creamy ranch that can be used as a dip or dressing.
To make homemade ranch dip, you will need Greek yogurt, dried dill, parsley and chives, onion powder and garlic powder.
You will also need lemon juice. Either squeeze the juice from 1/4 lemon, or use 1 tsp storebought lemon juice.
Add Greek yogurt and all the seasoning to a bowl. Stir to combine. Then, add lemon juice and mix.
Add 1 tbsp of water to give the dip a thinner consistency. If you wish to make it even thinner, to use as a salad dressing, add water one tablespoon at a time until you have reached the consistency you like.
The seasoning used in ranch dressing is dill, parsley, chives, onion powder and garlic powder.
You can use finely chopped fresh versions of the herbs if you have them available. I use dried herbs for ease.
💡 TIP! If you want to use a ranch seasoning packet, you can simply combine this with Greek yogurt and lemon juice for a quick and healthy ranch dip.
