- 1 cup water
- 1 bunch green beans
Add 1 cup water to your Instant Pot.
Wash and rinse the green beans, and cut off any stems.
Add a steam basket or a trivet to the Instant Pot, and place the green beans on top.
Close and seal the lid on the Instant Pot, and cook using the MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK setting for 0 minutes. The green beans will finish steaming by the time the Instant Pot reaches pressure.
Quickly release the pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions, and remove the green beans from the Instant Pot.
Serve the green beans immediately with your favorite entree.
- The instructions are made for a 6 qt Instant Pot. If you have a larger pressure cooker, you should add a little more water to cover the bottom of the pot thoroughly.
- Add garnishes for flavor, such as toasted almonds, lemon juice or Parmesan.
