Ingredients

Instructions

  • Slice oranges in half.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 200°C / 395°F.
  • Place the oranges in the hot air fryer, and drizzle some cinnamon and honey on top.
  • Air fry the oranges until they are golden on top, about 3-6 minutes. Serve them immediately while they are still warm.

Notes

Leftovers

Roasted oranges taste the best if served immediately. If you happen to have any leftovers, they can be stored in the fridge for up to a day and reheated later.
Alternatively, you can dice up any leftover oranges and add them to any fruit salad.

Top tips

This recipe is incredibly easy, and it’s almost impossible to get it wrong. In any case, here’s my best expert advice on how to make the perfect roasted oranges:
  • The oranges cook in only a few minutes. Don’t forget about them, as they can burn quickly.
  • The cinnamon flavor will not be as strong as you think compared with the orange. Add a generous amount.
  • We add a bit of honey to add some sweetness. This also gives the top of the oranges a sweet, sticky glaze and keeps them from drying out. Use maple syrup or agave syrup for a vegan version!
