- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder (optional)
Baked wings
Preheat your oven to 425 F / 220 C / 200 C fan oven.
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
Coat the wings with the salt, pepper, garlic power, honey and 1 tablespoon sriracha. Add baking powder if you want to make the chicken wings crispy.
Place on a roasting rack or baking sheet. I like to use a wire rack fitted with a drip tray underneath to make the wings extra crispy.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Then, use a pastry brush to brush on the remaining sriracha, and bake for a further 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken wings are done.
Grilled wings
Pat and season the wings as directed above.
Place on a hot grill, and grill on both sides until the wings are slightly charred and cooked through. This takes about 20-25 minutes.
- Store leftovers in a refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in an oven, air fryer or microwave.
