Apple and Plum Crumble

This easy apple and plum crumble is a delicious, but simple dessert suitable for any occasion.

  • Preheat the oven to 355 F / 180 C.
  • Add diced plums and apples to a 8x8" square casserole dish, and top with 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar.
  • Combine the oats, remaining sugar, all-purpose flour, cinnamon and butter in a mixing bowl, and crumble the ingredients with your hands until they are integrated thoroughly.
  • Spread the crumble topping over the fruit, and bake the dessert for about 40 minutes, or until the fruit is juicy and the crumble topping is lightly golden on top.
  • Serve it immediately as a warm dessert.

  • Store leftover plum apple crumble in a refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze it for up to 3 months. 
  • Serve your crumble with vanilla ice cream, cream or custard.
