Preheat the oven to 355 F / 180 C.
Add diced plums and apples to a 8x8" square casserole dish, and top with 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar.
Combine the oats, remaining sugar, all-purpose flour, cinnamon and butter in a mixing bowl, and crumble the ingredients with your hands until they are integrated thoroughly.
Spread the crumble topping over the fruit, and bake the dessert for about 40 minutes, or until the fruit is juicy and the crumble topping is lightly golden on top.
Serve it immediately as a warm dessert.
