Air Fryer Sausage
This easy air fryer sausage recipe is the BEST way to prepare pork sausages or Italian sausages! A quick and simple method that gives juicy sausages with the perfect char.
Servings: 6 sausages
Pierce the sausage casings a few times with a sharp knife, fork or the end of a skewer.
Add the sausages to the air fryer basket in a single layer, and avoid stacking them on top of each other. If you use very lean sausages, you might want to spray your air fryer basket with some cooking spray or olive oil to prevent them from sticking.
Cook the sausages at 360 F / 180 C. The exact cooking time can vary a little, but as a guide you can do 7 minutes, then shake the basket or flip the sausages, and cook them for 7 more minutes on the other side. Add a few minutes if you like your sausages really charred or dark brown.
- The exact cooking time required will vary depending on several factors. Keep an eye on the sausages, and note down the cooking time your air fryer needed for next time!
- Leftover cooked sausages can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.
- For food safety purposes, it's always recommended using a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature of the sausages reach at least 165 F / 74 C before serving.
