  • 1 cup water
  • 1 bunch green beans

  • Add 1 cup water to your Instant Pot.
  • Wash and rinse the green beans, and cut off any stems.
  • Add a steam basket or a trivet to the Instant Pot, and place the green beans on top.
  • Close and seal the lid on the Instant Pot, and cook using the MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK setting for 0 minutes. The green beans will finish steaming by the time the Instant Pot reaches pressure.
  • Quickly release the pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions, and remove the green beans from the Instant Pot.
  • Serve the green beans immediately with your favorite entree.

  • The instructions are made for a 6 qt Instant Pot. If you have a larger pressure cooker, you should add a little more water to cover the bottom of the pot thoroughly.
  • Add garnishes for flavor, such as toasted almonds, lemon juice or Parmesan.
