Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Peel and cut the pineapple however you like. I like to cut them into long sticks, but you can cut smaller chunks or rings if you prefer.
  • Add the chocolate chips to a microwavable bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir the mixture with a spoon. Repeat 1-3 times, or until the chocolate has melted completely. Some brands of chocolate can be rather thick. If this is the case, you can add a teaspoon or coconut oil to make the chocolate thinner and more suitable for dipping.
  • Dip the pineapple pieces into the chocolate one by one. You can also use a spoon to get the chocolate on the fruit.
  • Lay the chocolate covered pineapple on a parchment paper covered baking sheet. Place the tray in a refrigerator, and leave it there for up to an hour to allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in a refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • If the chocolate is too thick to dip, add a little coconut oil to make it thinner.
