Half or quarter large potatoes into similar sizes. If you are using baby potatoes, they can be cooked whole.
Add chicken, potatoes, seasoning and oil to a mixing bowl, and stir to coat the chicken and potatoes evenly.
Pour the chicken broth into an instant pot. Add the chicken to the broth, and place the potatoes on top of the chicken.
Turn the valve to sealing, and put the instant pot on PRESSURE COOK or MANUAL setting for 15 minutes.
After the instant pot has finished cooking, leave the pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes before turning the valve to do a quick release of the remaining steam. Be careful, as the steam is very hot!
