Ingredients

Instructions

  • First, prepare your popcorn. Use store bought popcorn, or pop it with your favorite method. You can pop popcorn kernels on the stove top, in a microwave or using a popcorn machine.
  • When you have prepared the popcorn, simply add it to a bowl or a bag, and add the onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt and dill. Shake to combine the ingredients and to coat the popcorn in the seasonings.
  • Optionally, you can add more of the ingredients to taste. For example, you might want to double the ingredients to enhance the flavor, or add extra salt if you like really salted popcorn.

Notes

  • If you use store bought popped popcorn, make sure to buy unseasoned or plain popcorn. Salted popcorn can also work if you omit the salt in the recipe. Seasoned popcorn, especially the sweet varieties, would not taste good combined with the pickle seasoning.
  • Although the popcorn can be stored, it definitely tastes best when it’s freshly popped. Make this right before serving for the best results.
  • You can store popcorn in a sealed container in your pantry for up to 2 days. Keep in mind that the popcorn goes stale over time, so the sooner you eat it, the better.
