Ingredients

Instructions

  • Combine Greek yogurt and spices in a bowl to make a marinade
  • Coat the chicken, and leave it to marinate in a refrigerator for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 °F / 200 °C and place the drumsticks in the basket. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket, and leave some space between each drumstick. If you’re cooking a large amount and have a small air fryer, you might have to cook the drumsticks in multiple batches.
  • Air fry for about 30 minutes, turning them after 15 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to keep track of the temperature of the chicken. It’s cooked to perfection when the internal temperature reaches exactly 165 °F / 74 °C.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer. The exact cooking time required can vary, but your meat thermometer will tell you exactly when the chicken is done, without having to worry about it being undercooked or dry. I use this one from Amazon.
  • If possible, leave the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to several hours. This will give the chicken a better flavor. If you are pressed for time, you can also cook the chicken immediately.
  • Leftover air fryer chicken drumsticks can be stored in a sealed container in a refrigerator for up to 3 days.
