Ingredients

  • 200 g strawberries (2 cups)
  • 200 g pineapple (2 cups)
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 jalapeno
  • ½ lime (juice only)
  • handful cilantro

Instructions

  • Dice the strawberries and pineapple in small pieces, and place them in a bowl. Finely chop the red onion, cilantro and jalapeno, and add these to the fruit. Squeeze the juice from half a lime over the top.
  • Stir to combine all the ingredients evenly. Serve the strawberry pineapple salsa immediately, or store it in a refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it.

Leftovers

You can store leftover strawberry pineapple salsa in a refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep in mind that fruit tends to taste the best when it’s fresh.
Keep the leftovers in an airtight container. This dish is not suitable for freezing.
