Stewed Kale

Stewed kale, or braised kale, is a healthy and tasty vegetable side dish. With a zest of lemon juice, this is a light dish you can serve with your favorite main dishes.

Ingredients

  • 150 g kale
  • 1 lemon (juice only)
  • 2 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • First, prepare the kale by washing and chopping it roughly. Remove the thicker parts of the stem.
  • Add the kale, lemon juice and water to a pot on medium heat. Allow it to cook while you stir for about 5-7 minutes. The kale should be wilted and soft.
  • Serve kale stew immediately while it’s hot.
