Ingredients

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix it together thoroughly. Shape into two patties.
  • Heat some oil, butter or cooking spray in a frying pan on medium to high heat. Cook the burgers. They are rare after around 4 minutes, and they should be well done after about 10 minutes. Cook until the desired consistency, and serve with your favorite burger toppings.

Notes

  • Burgers are best served immediately, but can also be frozen for up to 3 months or stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan on the stove or in the microwave.
  • Let's talk spice. I ad 1 teaspoon chili powder, which gives the burgers a little heat, but not too much. These burgers are completely child friendly. If you want them to be actually spicy, you can add another teaspoon or two.
  • The listed nutritional information is for the burger patties only. Any toppings or side dishes will be added to it.
  • To reduce the amount of calories and carbs in burgers, serve them on lettuce leaves with veggies and light sauces instead of the typical burger bun and burger dressing.
