Oven roasted green beans
Delicious, crispy oven roasted green beans are the perfect side dish for any meal. Made in 15 minutes, these guys are both healthy and quick to throw together for a weeknight dinner.
Preheat your oven to 200°C / 180°C fan oven / 400°F
Rinse and clean the green beans and add them to a baking sheet.
Sprinkle the oil over the green beans, and season with salt and pepper. Combine it all so that the beans are completely covered in oil.
Roast the green beans in the oven until they are softened and golden on the edges. This usually take about 10-15 minutes.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. This recipe works best with fresh green beans, and you can't substitute for tinned or frozen green beans.
Try other flavor combinations!
Salt and pepper give the green beans so much flavor, but if you're looking to change it up, try make them with your favorite seasonings. I love green beans with garlic and parmesan, chili and honey, cajun seasoning, thyme or taco seasoning.
